Sand Carved & Laser Engraved Wood Signs
Laser engraved signs can have an old fashioned "burnt" look similar to a branding iron. Lasering may also be done in various depths giving a "3-D" effect. Laser engraved signs may also be paint filled giving the text and graphics color for a more modern look.
Sandblasted signs typically have an old fashion or elegant style. Solid wood, wood composites and High Density Urethane (HDU) are used depending upon the style of the sign. Wood such as redwood leave the grain raised. Composite woods generally have a "pebbled" look when sandblasted. HDU remains relatively smooth, however, it is much more costly than wood.
